Seriously, run and grab this beer. I had it last night on tap at The Stable and was truly amazed. First let me tell you that I was in no mood to drink, a rarity itself. I had zero intentions of having any alcohol at all yesterday (long long story). Then someone at the table ordered it and as soon as a smelled it, I had to have one. I am not one of those people who are going to give you long-winded diatribes about a beer's nose, but I have never smelled a beer that approaches this. Well, I promptly ordered one, then another, then a third. It is exactly what a pale al should be. I can see why Odell IPA won the gold at the 2008 World Beer cup. My understanding is that the only place in the St Louis area you can get this on tap is at The Stable. This beer is worth the trip.
